Press Release: Company Acquires 3D Technology and Expertise
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Dec. 7, 2004 - Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced it has acquired OKYZ S.A., makers of 3D collaboration software. The acquisition adds 3D technology and expertise to the Adobe Intelligent Document Platform.

OKYZ is a privately held company based near Paris, France. Its software products include Raider3D Capture, Raider3D Live and Raider3D Publish. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, although Adobe said it will not have a material financial impact on the company.

"Adobe recognizes the significant trend toward 3D-based collaboration," said Ivan Koon, senior vice president, Intelligent Documents Business Unit, Adobe. "OKYZ brings 3D technology and expertise to Adobe's ongoing effort to enable our customers to view, interact and exchange a wide variety of content in Adobe PDF."
